Thabiso Rapodile

Thabiso is the Lead Consultant in Training, Education, and Advisory services at the South African National Blood Services (SANBS). She has been with the organization for over ten years previously as a Medical Officer/Manager. She oversees transfusion medicine training & education of healthcare professionals (HCP) in public and private hospitals and tertiary institutions. She recently co-developed SANBS` first digital learning experience portal for internal and external Healthcare professionals (HCP), to expand access and “on-demand” training. She currently chairs the SANBS Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) strategic initiative.

She is passionate about developing capacity-building relationships within Africa through digital and advisory services. She is an ISBT working party member and is one of the co-authors and developers of the University of the Free State PBM short learning program for nurses.
