Xoli Madlala is the founder of Redefining Menopause Africa and a leading menopause thought leader dedicated to transforming how Africa understands, experiences, and responds to menopause. An internationally certified menopause coach, policy advisor, and author of The Perimenopausal Globetrotter, she brings together clinical insight, advocacy, and lived experience to ensure menopause conversations are inclusive, evidence-informed, and transformative.
Her work spans corporates, healthcare spaces, communities, churches, couples, and individuals, where she supports the creation of menopause-inclusive environments that protect women’s health, dignity, and wellbeing. Xoli is a sought-after public speaker, TEDxLytteltonWomen presenter, and respected media contributor whose work has reached audiences through television, radio, podcasts, magazines, newspapers, and academic platforms, including the University of Johannesburg, the University of the Free State, and UNISA Radio.
In recognition of her impact, Xoli was named a SuperLead 2025 Honouree in the Social Impact category, celebrating her leadership in driving systemic change and advancing menopause awareness across Africa.
