Dr Ndileka Mbete, Managing Director of Tshiamo Health

Dr Ndileka Mbete (MB ChB, MBA) is a medical doctor and experienced healthcare professional who is passionate about population wellness and an advocate for health equity and patient-centred care. She seeks opportunities to create systemic change in how patients access quality and affordable healthcare on the African continent through advances in technology and care delivery and funding models that promote improved outcomes and enhance patient and provider experience.

She has considerable experience in designing and implementing value-based care delivery and funding models, in both primary care settings and in-hospital care. She works as a healthcare strategist designing and providing Programme implementation support in primary healthcare, maternity and chronic kidney disease for clients in South Africa and neighbouring countries.
